We offer Taco Packs in 10-pack, 20-pack, 50-pack, and larger quantities. Party Packs are catering packages that scale for groups from around 25 people up to 100+ and include sides. You can mix and match pack sizes to hit your exact headcount.
Not sure how many tacos to order? Here's our general guide:
1 taco — a light snack
2 tacos — a standard-size meal
3 tacos — for big appetites
-
Yes — you can make changes to your order up until the day before your delivery or pickup. Log into the customer portal to adjust headcount, swap menu items, or update delivery details. For larger changes, you're always welcome to email us directly at hello@earlybirdtacos.com.
-
Set your delivery time 30 minutes before your group plans to eat. For example, if your meeting or event starts at 9:00 AM, schedule delivery for 8:30 AM. This gives us time to arrive, set up, and ensures the food is fresh and ready to go the moment your guests walk in. This window also provides an important buffer in case we run into any unexpected traffic or delays.

Tacos are delivered in insulated equipment designed to keep them hot. Once they're taken out of the delivery containers, they'll naturally start to cool. Plan for your group to eat within about an hour of delivery for the best experience.
If your event runs longer or food will be served over an extended period (two hours or more), reach out ahead of time and we can discuss options for keeping things warm.
-
Yes! Pickup orders are available from our production facilities. Once your order is confirmed, we'll send you the pickup address and details.
San Francisco: 2501 Phelps St, San Francisco, CA 94124
Orange County: 711 W 17th St, Unit C-11, Costa Mesa, CA 92627

Sometimes addresses at parks, venues, or unique locations don't match exactly in our ordering system. If you're getting an error, email us at hello@earlybirdtacos.com — we'll usually just need a nearby street address that the mapping system recognizes, and we can handle the rest manually.

Every Early Bird order includes:
Three house-made salsas — always included at no extra charge
A printed menu card so your guests know exactly what they're eating
Tacos presented in foil trays (about 30 tacos per tray)
Party Packs also include sides such as fruit salad, guacamole, and sour cream depending on the pack size.
Serving supplies are optional — taco boats (disposable food trays), napkins, tongs, and forks are available as an add-on at checkout. Since tacos are a finger food, forks are only added if your order includes items that require them. If you don't select this add-on, you'll need to provide your own.

When you select "Include all serving supplies" at checkout, we bring everything you need to set up a clean, complete spread — including taco boats (disposable food trays), napkins, and serving tongs. Since tacos are a finger food, forks are only added when your order includes items that require them. This is a great option if you're ordering for an office or event and don't want to worry about supply runs.
-
We don't provide chafing dishes or sterno-style warmers as a standard option. For the vast majority of our orders, people don't use any type of warmers — our delivery equipment keeps the food hot, and with the right delivery timing your group will be eating fresh, warm tacos. If your group will eat over an extended period, we recommend scheduling your delivery as close to eating time as possible, or reaching out to us ahead of time to discuss the best approach for your specific event.
-
Party Packs include a curated variety mix based on what's most popular with our customers. A standard mix is approximately:
65% meat
25% veggie
10% vegan
~5% on gluten-free corn tortillas (drawn from the mix above)
We'll always include a menu card so your guests know exactly what they're eating. If your group has different dietary needs, you can request a custom mix at checkout or reach out to us directly.
-
Breakfast
Dirty Bird — our most popular breakfast taco, featuring bacon, hashbrown, eggs, and cheese
Wrangler — a longtime crowd-pleaser
Lunch
Pulled Pork — a standout for afternoon catering
Chicken Fajita — consistently one of our top lunch orders
-
We're proud to say that more than half our menu is vegetarian, with excellent vegan options too. Popular picks include:
Breakfast
Veggie Rooster — our most popular breakfast veggie taco
Vegan Sprout — a great plant-based option for the morning
Lunch
Vegan Chickpea Fajita — consistently our top-ordered vegan taco at lunch
Vegan Sweet Potato — a hearty, plant-based lunch favorite
All standard orders include a mix that ensures vegetarians and vegans are well taken care of. If your group skews heavily veggie or vegan, let us know and we can adjust the taco mix accordingly.
-
Yes! We have two great options for kids:
Tweety — our classic kids' taco, mild and universally loved
Sprout with Cheese — a kid-friendly veggie option for little ones who prefer no meat
Most of our standard tacos are also mild enough for kids to enjoy. Just a heads up that our salsas can get spicy, and they're always delivered on the side.
-
Yes — you can request a custom taco mix using the order notes field at checkout. You can also order individual tacos directly from the breakfast or lunch sections of our menu to build exactly the spread you want. Please note that we aren't able to modify individual taco ingredients (like adjusting spice levels or swapping proteins), as our meats and fillings are prepared in large batches.
-
Yes — we can prepare a portion of your order on corn tortillas for guests who need gluten-free options. By default, Taco Packs and Party Packs include a small number of GF tacos (approximately 5–7% of the total order).
If your group has many gluten-free guests, let us know and we can increase the GF portion accordingly. Just be aware that corn tortillas are naturally more crumbly than flour, so we recommend having forks available for GF tacos.
Note: GF tacos are prepared in a shared kitchen environment. If you have a severe gluten allergy, please reach out to discuss your needs before ordering.
-
Absolutely. We have several fully vegan tacos on our menu, including the Sprout (breakfast) and the Chickpea Fajita and Sweet Potato (lunch). Vegan tacos are part of our standard variety mix, and we can increase the vegan portion of your order on request. When placing your order, add a note specifying vegan requirements and we'll make sure your group is covered.
-
We can only accommodate ingredient modifications to address dietary restrictions or allergies — for example, preparing a taco without eggs for a vegan guest, or removing a known allergen. We're not able to customize individual tacos for taste preferences (like removing onions or reducing spice), as our proteins and fillings are cooked in large batches. For any allergy-related needs, please contact us before placing your order.
